Rapid response time of emergency personnel to a crisis is critical. One of the easiest ways to assist Fire, Police and Ambulance personnel is to be in compliance with the Webster Town and Village codes in regards to house numbers. Local and State codes require that your house numbers be at least 4" tall and be placed in a highly visible part of your home or business that faces the street. It is also highly suggested that the numbers be a contrasting color to the surface they are mounted on. If you have a street mailbox directly in front of your home or business it is also suggested that the same types of numbers be posted on the mailbox post so they can be easily seen from both approaching directions. If you were an emergency responder, which house numbers below would you rather see? Help us to help you !!
