Webster Fire and NEJFD Welcome the Spring 2026 Probationary Recruit Class!

The Webster Volunteer Fire Department and the North East Joint Fire District announce the start of the 2026 Spring Probationary Recruit Class. Six new members began their initial training on Thursday, April 2.
Probationary firefighters Ashish Bindal, Evan Delamarter, Shondra Hoffman-Couser, Wilfredo Rivera Torres, Andrew Rose, and Andrew Watson will complete several months of instruction under the supervision of Captain Mike Burdick and WVFD peer trainers. After finishing their recruit training, the new firefighters will join the Webster Volunteer Fire Department as exterior personnel. They will then be required to attend additional training at the Monroe County Public Safety Training Facility to become eligible for interior firefighting duties.
Ashish, Evan, Shondra, Wilfredo, Andrew, and Andrew are welcomed to the organization as they begin their journey in fire service.
