On Friday, June 5, 2026, at approximately 10:37 a.m., the Webster Fire Department responded to a house fire at 180 Cranbrook Terrace in Webster, NY. A working fire was declared, prompting immediate mutual aid from the West Webster and Lincoln Fire Departments.

Arriving crews found heavy fire in the home's attached garage. Firefighters worked quickly to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading to the living area and a neighboring residence.

The Webster Fire Department received assistance from the Monroe County Fire Bureau, Webster Police Department, and Penfield Ambulance. Due to the incident's manpower demands, a second alarm was requested, bringing additional firefighters from the Penfield and Ontario Fire Departments. District coverage was provided by the Irondequoit and Fairport Fire Departments while Webster crews were involved in the response.

The fire was brought under control in roughly 35 minutes. No injuries were reported among homeowners or responding firefighters. Crews remained on scene for about two hours to conduct overhaul operations, extinguish hotspots, and investigate the cause of the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
