It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Webster Volunteer Fire Department Past Chief (Four-Time), William J. Larner. Chief William “Bill” Larner served as Chief of the Webster Volunteer Fire Department: 1962-1963, 1970-1971, 1980-1981 and 1992-1993.

Friday, February 21, 2025, age 90. Predeceased by his wife, Freda; lifelong friend, Cora Enter. He leaves his children, Darlene (Art) Pitt, Cindy (Daniel) Critz, Debbie (Shawn) Savage, Jimmy (Maria) Larner and Tammy (David) Franklin; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A lifetime Webster resident and a four-time chief of the Webster Fire Dept., family and the fire department were Bill’s life.
Friends may call 11:00 AM-2:00 PM Saturday, March 1 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Private Graveside Service. Memorials may be directed to the Webster Volunteer Fire Dept.
