On Tuesday, December 13th, August Vorndran was reelected to a five-year term as Fire Commissioner for the North East Joint Fire District. August has been involved in the volunteer fire service for more than 53 years and also serves as the Captain of the Webster Volunteer Fire Department’s Fire Police Squad. He has been an important part of the North East Joint Fire District’s management team since he was appointed Fire Commissioner in late 2019. The elected position of Fire Commissioner is an unpaid position that is vital to the successful delivery of fire and rescue services in the community.

Congratulations to Commissioner Vorndran and a big thank you to all of the District residents that came out to vote at the Annual Fire District Election.
