On August 7th at approximately 01:40 am Webster firefighters were dispatched for the report of a vehicle on fire in the driveway of a Brooksboro Drive residence. The District Chief arrived on-scene and reported 3 vehicles on fire in the driveway with an attached 2 car garage in imminent danger and requested an upgraded assignment. With the possibility of the fire spreading to the residence firefighters and neighbors attempted to awake anyone inside to no avail. Firefighters forced opened the door to the home and alerted a resident who was sleeping inside.

The first arriving engine company quickly brought all 3 fires under control and prevented any spread to the home. The crew was voluntarily bunking overnight at Headquarters reducing the response time by minutes. This undoubtedly prevented the fire from spreading to the home. There were no injuries and the fires are under investigation by the Monroe County Fire Bureau. The video was captured by a GoPro camera mounted in the vehicle of Acting Assistant Chief Kozak.
