Re: 2021 Webster Volunteer Fire Dept. Carnival and Parade

Dear Webster Community,

After thorough consideration, the Webster Volunteer Fire Department regrets to inform you that we are canceling the carnival and parade for this year. The health and safety of our residents and surrounding communities continue to be our highest priority. We feel that this is in everyone’s best interest. This decision is not being made lightly. We know that our event is a staple to the Webster community, as well as the local businesses in our area.

The Webster Volunteer Fire Department continues to be a 100% volunteer organization. Since the carnival is our single largest fund-raising event, we hope that you will consider donating to the department during our upcoming annual fund drive. Donations can also be made directly on our website at www.donatewvfd.org at any time.

In addition, the department is always looking for new members to assist us in protecting and serving the residents within our community. Applications and further information
can be found on our website.

As a community we will get through this together and we look forward to seeing everyone again in 2022.

David LaRue
President
