Webster volunteer firefighters have been busy the past few weeks with spreading some holiday cheer to those less fortunate. Webster firefighters have been assisting other community volunteers with wrapping nearly two thousand Christmas presents destined for over seventy Webster families in need. Over the past few days Webster firefighters have been delivering hundreds of presents in firetrucks to the delight of children and adults alike. The small charitable organization is called “Making Spirits Bright” and their mission, while working with the Webster School District, is to identify needy families during the Holidays. Items such as clothing, food and toys for children are what this organization tries to provide for Webster families.

This evening Webster firefighters joined hundreds of other emergency first responders from around the community and participated in the “Let it Glow” event at the Golisano Children’s Hospital. Hundreds of first responders and dozens of emergency vehicles parked outside of the children’s hospital with their emergency lights on to say ‘goodnight’ to the kids.
