12/10/17 0700 Hours:
On 12/10/17 shortly after 7AM members of the Webster Volunteer Fire Department conducted a controlled burn of the residential structure located at 1676 Ridge Road. This structure was ‘donated’ to the Webster Fire Department by the owner for the purposes of training and the eventual removal by burning. Over the past many weeks members of the WFD have been training in the structure and practicing their skills on many firefighting tactics including hose advancement, search and rescue, Rapid Intervention Team (RIC), ground ladders, ventilation and self-rescue. The structure was burned to the ground this morning.
The photos were submitted by Steve Small and Missy Rosenberry. Aerial drone footage may be available soon and will be posted when it is.
