New Year's Rollover Crash with Wires Down   By NEJFD Executive Director Steven C. Small January 1, 2010   01/01/10 0127 Hrs: The Webster Fire Department and Union Hill Ambulance responded to the 1500 block of Schlegel Road this morning for a reported motor vehicle accident with a car overturned and wires down. Webster's 1C80 arrived on scene and confirmed both a car on its side and a utility pole with primary lines down. Further investigation revealed that all persons involved had been removed from the vehicle and that there were no reported injuries. WFD assisted in securing the crash scene and Union Hill Ambulance evaluated the occupants. Webster Police reported that unsafe speed and very icy road conditions contributed to the crash.
