December 20, 2016 1345 Hours:

On December 20, 2016, at 1345 hours the Union Hill and Webster Fire Departments were dispatched to the 900 block of Salt Road for multiple reports of a house on fire. Responding units reported a large smoke header in the sky. Initial reports were of a person possibly trapped inside the home. Command arrived and declared a working fire with an advanced fire load in a two story singly family dwelling. It was quickly determined that all occupants were safely out of the structure and Command declared that the fire suppression would be defensive operations only.

Union Hill was assisted by numerous area departments that provided manpower to the scene as well as fill in companies to the Union Hill and Webster areas. There were no injuries reported at the scene and the investigation is being conducted by the Monroe County Fire Bureau.
