It is with sorrow that the Webster Volunteer Fire Department announces the passing of Past Chief Wilson O. Mottler. Chief Mottler passed away on April 4th, 2012 at the age of 83. Chief Mottler served the Webster Volunteer Fire Department as Fire Chief in 1952 and 1953. The following is the obituary from the Democrat and Chronicle.

Rochester: April 4, 2012 at age 83. He is predeceased by his daughter, Samantha Mottler. Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joyce; children, Cindy (Sam) Peritore, Pam (Neil) Mendenhall, Mike (Roxanne) Russotti, Scott (Heidi) Mottler, Kevin (Karen) Mottler, Tim (Char) Mottler and Todd Mottler; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Jeannine) Mottler; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday, April 9, 2012 at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. 4-7 PM. His Memorial Service will follow at 7 PM. Interment at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Webster Fire Dept. To share a special memory, please visit:
