Serious Webster Road Crash Injures Five Email Print PDF RSS By NEJFD Executive Director Steven C. Small July 21, 2010   07-21-10 1445 Hrs: On 07/21/10 at 1445 Hrs the Webster Fire Department and Union Hill Ambulance were dispatched to the intersection of Webster Road and Cardinal Lane for several reports of a motor vehicle crash. 911 information included reports of people trapped and vehicles smoking. 1C20 arrived and confirmed a two vehicle crash with multiple victims. Further information confirmed a person trapped and a total of five victims. An RG&E utility pole carrying primary lines was nearly sheered in half and a fire hydrant was completely uprooted from the ground. Numerous ambulances and advanced life support units were summoned to the scene. A total of five patients were transported to area hospitals with at least one patient reported to be in serious condition. The crash is being investigated by the Webster Police Department.
