Motor Vehicle Crash with Entrapment Email Print PDF RSS By NEJFD Executive Director Steven C. Small June 22, 2010   On 06/22/10 at 1411 Hrs. the Webster Volunteer Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle crash with a person trapped and a vehicle smoking, at Route 250 & Northrup Road. Penfield Ambulance and SEQALS were also dispatched. Command went on scene and reported a two vehicle crash with two vehicles off the roadway into a drainage ditch. A further update from command reported 3 victims and confirmation of a person trapped. Command also requested a second ambulance to the scene. Webster Fire Dept. crews used the "Jaws of Life" Hurst Tool to remove the driver's door from one of the involved vehicles. The West Webster Ambulance also responded to the scene. A busy portion of State Route 250 had to be closed to traffic while crews worked the crash scene.
