This year's event is during the Webster Village Days and the WFD open house is on Saturday, August 16th. The open house will be held from 10AM - 3PM. There were two serious vehicle crashes in eastern Webster on Monday, July 28th.
The first occurred in the Union Hill response area at the intersection of Basket Road and Woodard Road. At approximately 4:25 PM the Union Hill Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection for a two vehicle crash with a person trapped inside of a car that was on fire. The Webster Volunteer Fire Department and North East Joint Fire District welcome the 2014 (Summer) Probationary Recruit Class. The three Webster residents began their recruit training on Monday, July 21st. The Webster and West Webster Fire Departments participated in the "Touch a Truck" at the Webster Ice Arena on Saturday, April 12th. Webster's Engine 105 and West Webster's Quint 1230 were on hand for children and their parents to explore. A big thank you for the crews who participated in this event.
